Taylor & Point Loma Towers...
Today was indeed a busy day for the Huzils =)
I have been sick for the past couple days and was totally bedridden last night at about 7:30 on to this morning, but I'm feeling tads better (with the aid of Halls -- sidebar -- did you know you can't buy Halls in corner stores here, just pharmacy's? And they keep them waaaaay on the top shelf? You can't buy Smarties here either, but that's besides the point)
So, anyways, today was Jay's interview with Taylor Guitars up in El Cajon (pronounced ' el cahone') and it went very well. They've already contacted him for a second interview, it's a good job to get us on our feet (not to mention it has full medical benifits as well) and Jay is excited about being able to say he worked for Taylor. His next interview is Thursday at 4pm.
Today, we also visited the Point Loma Towers to give the rest of our 'first installment' of the damage deposit -- which means , yes, we've decided to live there -- yay! we have a home! It'll be a little bit of a stretch for us, since we have to come up with two months rent right off (being what they classify as international applicants with no U.S. credit) but it's working out really nicely and they're very understanding of our situation. The place is really cool (see photos!!)( Yes, it is really our pool, and our view, and our building) I hope many of you will be able to see it in person =)

This is the door to our actual building, there's 3 wings all together with the pool in the middle in sort of a courtyard, and parking all around the outside...
This is 'close' to what our view will be, it was hazy today so you can't see the ocean too good, and we'll be higher ofcourse... this photo really doesn't do justice to what the view really is...
K, and Yah, so this is the pool =)
I'll be thinking of all of you as I sit by the poolside under the palm trees getting a tan...sigh...
