Happy July 4th -- and beyond!

This last week we've had Jay's youngest sister staying with us. They had a crazy action packed week -- combined with our long holiday here, (which was wonderful!) Jay is now feeling under the weather (has a flu and cold -- in July -- not fun) and I am not looking forward to going into work today, but know that I have too ...

Here are some shots from the past week. enjoy!

Jay and Amanda, hangin' on our beach the first day here.

The second day here (or I think it could have been the third, Jay took Amanda out for surfing her first time -- I think she did very well!

July 4th was spent with friends (our old neighbors who just moved out of our apartments) and their friends from New York. They live across the lagoon from us (the lagoon is in the background) and we had a BBQ, took lots of pictures, made (my) first patriotic cake, drew on their large chalk wall, (well, just I did that) and lots more. It was a picture perfect day. (This is Jen, from New York, Amanda and myself)

The day that Amanda had to fly home we took her to the airport to see her off -- the airport was small, but cozy I guess =) All in all was a good week. Back to reality now I guess. Till Next Blog.
love, a.
