Oh, what a last bit of day's it's been! I need to write quickly since I only have 15 mins left at work ... We were in the studio yesterday laying down the bass tracks for the album, with which Jay is now editing to sync w/ his guitar and the drums. it's amazing how the sound just POUNDS out of the monitors now when we hear it ... I shudder with excitement to think what this will be when it's done. And I also shudder in a bit of nervousness because I know that my part is next! We'll prob. schedule some time in May or beginning of June to do the vocals. We'll do the "soft" parts first and the "intense" parts last (or so is our plan) and I'm hoping to do some "mid-scratches" (so, re-singing vocals so I figure out what I'm doing) at home as well as some backups and the "bits" (ie, spoken words and whispers). It feels surreal that it's coming together, and at the same time it feels like it's taking forever, haha.

All through this, freelance has been busy, in fact I have two HUGE deadlines this week and Break Forth is beginning again.

Worship at church is ongoing, and I am continually being taught things about my character that I'm sure I would have much rather hidden under something. Things become painfully obvious sometimes when you become accountable to a group of people. I come face to face with my weaknesses and my sin. But -- it is rewarding at the same time, as I'm learning that to lead others we must first lead ourselves. (by way of looking to Jesus' example and what is asked of us by God).

I think that's pretty much it. Jay and I will be celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary in about 2 and a half weeks, with a trip to the Grand Canyon -- I am highly looking forward to this =)

Till Next Blog ~ love a.
